Somebody brought this up at the Warrior Forum the other day and when I thought about it, I realized how common this problem really is. Actually, it’s more stupidity than a problem. I’m talking about people who come to forums, cry the blues that they aren’t making any money and then turn around and start sharing their great tips for how to make $500 a week doing whatever. It’s almost laughable. Can you say…you’re busted? Well, these people obviously don’t realize that forum members have attention spans greater than a cat’s.

So what I’m going to do is try to give you folks some tips to avoid getting busted for doing boneheaded things like that. For starters, don’t come to forums crying the blues about how you’re not making any money if you plan to later rip forum members off selling some bogus get rich quick scheme. Be original. Do something smart like come in with an avatar of you wearing a Rolex. That way, we’ll think you’re rich.

Also, in your signature, you might want to have something like, “I can teach you how to make the monies.” That way we’ll know for sure that you really know what you’re talking about. Naturally, you’ll want to have your signature in about three or four different fonts and colors so we can see how creative you are. Creative people are usually very successful.

You also want to make sure you get one of those really cool domains like maketonsofmoney dot com. That way, if we see something that screams success like that, we’ll know that you’re very successful. Of course you want to make sure it’s a domain that you didn’t just pick up the other day. Of course if you’re really good, you can probably make a domain successful overnight. This will impress us even more.

You also might want to get some of your friends to post meaningless comments telling all the other members what a great guy you are. After all, there is nothing better than social proof. If your friends think you’re pretty special, well, then you must be.

Also, you want to make sure you post your doctored screen prints showing how much money you make. But please, if you’re going to doctor them, especially the ones from ClickBank, for crying out loud…make sure the bars are the right size. The $1,000 bar is supposed to be BIGGER than the $200 bar…not the other way around.

There’s a lot more you can do, but this should get you started. Remember, if you want to get over on other forum members, you have to go about it the right way.
