I had been browsing around lately looking at alot of blogs and i had found some common traits on why they will never make it online unless they make amendments to their blogs. I also happened to chance upon some good blogs to model and i had since bookmarked them for future reference.
So, today i gonna share some mistakes to avoid in order for you to earn online through blogs.
1.  No fresh contents
There is what i called as ghost blogs. I believe you all might chanced upon some blogs with little contents or had not been updated for a long period of time. It is as good as abandoned and filling with ‘spider webs’! This type of blog have 0% of earning anything online.
2. More ads than contents
Well, i hated this type of blogs most as it is more like an advertising blog more than a content blog. Just imagine you switch on your tv one day and found that there is no show going on but just scores of advertisements coming out one after another, how will you feel? Your answer is as good as mine. Straight 0% of succeeding online i would say.
3. Poorly managed and designed
For this type of blogs, you can see that there are some programming bugs where you can see the error codes on their blogs or the toolbars are out of place etc. Whatever links you click is not working or bring you to an error page. If the owner just created this blog and still trial testing the codes, then it is forgiveable but if the bugs still stay there after a long period, then i can say it have very little chance of earning anything online.
4. Never generate traffic
You can see that the owner is trying very hard to update contents constantly but frankly speaking you can see that there are no or not much traffic on it and he is not really concern about it. He just post and disappear which i can say post for the sake of posting. Sometimes i wonder if there is anyone is reading it! If you are a real internet marketer, you should know that traffic is the lifeblood of all internet business. Another 0% chance of surviving online.
5. Not reader friendly
For some blogs, you just have no ways to contact the owner nor leave any comments to them. They don’t have RSS (Really Simple Syndication) nor anyway to bookmarks their posts. The purpose of having a blog is for interaction with readers, gather comments and feedbacks about the posts. That is the main difference between Web 1.0 and Web 2.0 sites. When reader have no interactivity with you, they will desert your blog. I would said 0% chance of surviving too!
6. Using free blogs
Free blogs mean having blogs that are not hosted by your own server. Some examples are blogger.com, wordpress.org, movable type, typepad, xanga etc. They are all hosted at their individual company servers. If you are really serious about earning online and craft a career out of it, you should strongly consider and using a blog that is hosted at your own hosting provider.
Only in this way, you have full control of your own blog and not leave it to others for controling it as you may never know if they will shut your blog down for not giving you any reasons. Hardly any chance of succeeding in earning online. Â
7. Parrot blog
Parrot blog is a type of blog whereby all the contents of it are totally other people contents or ideas. You will never find real, unique or the owner own contents. The contents are just copied from some other blogs, articles and etc. It will very boring to go to such blogs as you know you can get the same contents elsewhere and it really defeat the purpose of having a blog but posting works of others. Total 0% chance of earning anything online.
