The first world F1 night race in Singapore just ended yesterday. It was a night of thrill, excitement and surprises. I had never watched or follow F1 races prior to this night race, i happened to watch it since it is shown live on my local television. I always have the thinking of F1 is just cars running round and round in circuits, nothing much to see but yesterday night was an eye opening for me.

Prior to yesterday (the day before yesterday), the racers had a pacing match and it was equally exciting. Felipe Massa finished first in the queue and was the awarded the number 1 position on the final while Fernando Alonso finished last due to some mechanical fault on his motorcar. You can see him jumping in disappointment after getting out of his motorcar. Alonso virtually conceded the race is over when interviewed by the press.

On the final day itself, everyone will be very surprises with the end result. Felipe Massa was leading on the first half of the 61 laps before a freak accident cost him the championship title hopes. He was in pit stop for refuelling but to everyone surprise, he went off before anyone can pull off the gasoline pump and thus the pump was still with the car and Massa noticed that and stop just before the exit to the circuit again. This is where he lost alot of time and he put paid his earlier efforts and can never cover back the lost time. In the end, he only finished 13th out of 15th position.

Due to other accidents where some of the car crashes, safty cars came out and this is where Alonso able to catch up and in the end won the race. He took the chance and won the race. From position 15th to 1st in the pack is a great feat for any racer because as most of the racers commented that the race track is impossible for anyone to overtake. This is one of the main reason he was disappointed and dejected after the pacing race.

In life, we must do a Fernando Alonso feat in order to be successful in anything. What seem to be a hopeless situation at start turn to be a favourable chance for him in the end. It is the determination that drive him through the championship. We all knew that without determination, one can never succeed in anything, but how many of us are willing to be determine in facing difficulties or just give up in a slightest difficulty without even bother to try?

I like to watch sports especially football and now maybe F1 too! We can learnt alot of motivation from it. In a football match, there is alot of times you can see alot of teams who are down with few goals and yet able to fight back to draw or even win the match, likewise for F1 racing too.

Sometimes if you feel down, watching sports will definitely give you some motivation to carry on fighting back your difficulties. The more you try to fight it, the more it will be solved but the more you tried to give up or avoid it, failure will be your favourite companion. Comfort will bringforth failure while hardship will bring to you success. This is law of attraction, success breed success while failure breed failure, so never pitch yourself in comfort zone, go out and seek hardship, for sure success will come to you soon.
